S+S Inspection's Raycon detects contaminants

S+S Inspection, based in Fareham, UK, which specialises in contamination detection equipment, is showing the latest Raycon x-ray system at this year\'s PPMA that uses enhanced image-processing software to detect metallic and non-metallic contaminants at high throughput with a low power x-ray source.


S+S Inspection, based in Fareham, UK, which specialises in contamination detection equipment, is showing the latest Raycon x-ray system at this year's PPMA that uses enhanced image-processing software to detect metallic and non-metallic contaminants at high throughput with a low power x-ray source.

The company's balanced coil inspection systems will be represented by the Genius+, which is said to provide more data processing power, increased sensitivity and improved product effect compensation while simplifying set-up. A new multi-line touch screen display unit takes advantage of the expanded programming capability.
