Schreiner MediPharm system takes the stress out of shipping temperature-sensitive drugs


Germany pharmaceutical company Schreiner MediPharm has designed an electronic system that takes the stress out of shipping temperature sensitive drugs.

The e-temp tool, which is being used by logistics partner to the pharmaceutical industry Schenker Deutschland AG, provides reliable documentation of uninterrupted compliance across the cold chain. It consists of a label with an integrated RFID chip, a film battery, and a temperature sensor as well as specially developed software to evaluate all the measurements at the destination by means of a reader.
