Schreiner provides emission-free label marking

With the increasing use of new technologies for on-site 'printing' of variable data or individual product information in the pharmaceutical industry and laser systems for on-site label marking replacing TTR systems because of their inability to achieve the high marking speeds required, Schreiner MediPharm has taken the step of integrating the Colour Laser Film (CLF) principle into pharmaceutical labels intended for subsequent marking.

For the pharmaceutical industry, the CLF principle is beneficial as laser marking is performed inside the film in a zero-emission process, meaning that markings are completely free from any dust. Other benefits include a laminate that provides high resistance to mechanical, chemical and climatic influences; and low energy consumption for marking and cutting.
