Schutz cleans up the IBC market

Schuetz has launched the Ultra Clean Drum, a 200l container for transporting high-purity chemicals for the pharmaceutical, biotech and semiconductor sectors. It is manufactured under cleanroom conditions, for which an extrusion plant with special equipment had to be built with separate material-supply systems and clean-air supply. To prevent harmful metal ions migrating into the substance being transported, a high-molecule polyethylene produced according to precisely defined parameters was chosen as the drum material.
