Within the range there are systems for closed sample containers and open containers, such as ampoules or collapsible plastic bags.

The Sterisat NF range employs membrane filters fitted with pre-installed tube clamps, clearly marked graduations and traceable product and lot number identification. The Sterisat NF 16466 is equipped with a dual-needled metal spike specially designed for closed sample containers. The NF 16467 is designed for use with open containers that do not require venting when samples for sterility testing are removed. All Sterisat family members can be used in existing sterility pumps with the use of adaptors, although the Sterisat NF Universal pump is available for use in cleanrooms, clean benches and isolators.
