Tapered vials give maximum recovery

Chromacol has made an addition to its WebSeal range of 96-well titre plate products: the 05-MTV-96 is a medium height, 38mm polypropylene plate that accepts new 500µl tapered glass inserts. The tapered format makes these vials ideal for use with small samples and for the maximum recovery of a sample from the vial, down to a residual volume of approximately 5µl.

The PTFE WebSeal mat provides an excellent inert seal to each individual vial, even with volatile solvents, and allows individual vials to be removed using Chromacol's patented cutter. The reduced height means that these plates are suitable for compact autosamplers that have a reduced needle clearance height, such as the Agilent 1100 Wellplate Sampler, CTC LC PAL and the Spark Endurance.
