Anhydro (formerly part of the APV group, a subsidiary of Invensys), the Dedert Corporation (including Drytec) and Simatek, of Denmark, have combined to form the Anhydro Group, which will provide world-class evaporation and drying solutions to the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, among others. The new business will be headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Ole Andersen, chairman of the newly formed group, said: 'The new Anhydro Group will serve the relevant industrial sectors globally, focusing on evaporation and drying technologies and enabling The Anhydro Group to service customers effectively. The Strategic Co-operation Agreement with APV provides excellent opportunities for The Anhydro Group to access APV's technologies and to be able to continue to service the customers better in the future.'
