Bioglan Generics has made available 200 mg capsules of the fibrate fenofibrate.

APS/Berk has added 200mg and 400mg tablets of the antifungal drug metronidazole, to its range of generic products.

Goldshield Pharmaceuticals has introduced a 25mg/5ml suspension of the nitrofuran nitrofurantoin.

Torbay Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Unit has marketed a 30mg/ml concentrate for solution for injection of the indirectly acting sympathomimetic drug ephedrine hydrochloride.

Auden Mckenzie Pharma Division has launched Synastone injection. The product contains 10mg/ml of the opiate methadone hydrochloride.

Novartis Pharmaceuticals has launched Glivec capsules containing 100mg of the protein-tyrosine kinase inhibitor imatinib (as mesilate), an antileukemia drug (see above).

Amgen has brought out Neupogen Singleject 30 million units (300µg) and 48 million units (480µg) in 0.5ml prefilled syringes containing the recombinant G-CSF product filgrastim.
