Rosemont Pharmaceuticals has brought out Sulphor oral solution, containing 200mg/5ml of the antipsychotic sulpiride.

Dominion Pharma has made available 200mg tablets of the fibrate bezafibrate.

Aventis Pharma has launched Tritace capsules. Each capsule contains 5mg of the ACE inhibitor ramipril.

Cambridge Laboratories has now marketed ImmuCyst 81mg. The product, containing the Connaught strain of Bacillus Calmette-Guerin for intravesicular instillation, was previously available on a named-patient basis.

Aurum Pharmaceuticals has introduced a prefilled syringe of the alpha/beta-blocker labetalol hydrochloride 50mg/10ml. The company has also made available a 50mg/ml injection of the opiate analogue tramadol hydrochloride, and 30% w/v 50ml vials of sterile sodium chloride concentrate.

Pharmacia has launched Xalacom eye drops. The drops contain 50µg of the prostaglandin analogue latanoprost with 5mg of the beta-blocker timolol (as maleate) in 1ml solution.

Novartis Pharmaceuticals has brought out Exelon oral solution, containing 2mg/ml of the acetylcholinesterase inhibitor rivastigmine.
