Aventis Pharma and Teva Pharmaceuticals have co-marketed Copaxone injection. The product contains 20 mg of the immunomodulator glatiramer.

Antigen Pharmaceuticals has brought out 0.1% w/v solution for infusion of the anaesthetic bupivacaine HCl.

Janssen-Cilag has launched Topamax Sprinkle capsules. The product contains 50 mg of the anticonvulsant topiramate in coated bead formulation.

Sanofi-Synthelabo has brought out a 400 mg tablet of the antipsychotic drug amisulpride in its Solian range.

Pharmagenix has introduced 8 mg and 16 mg tablets of the histamine analogue betahistine.

Roche Pharmaceuticals has launched a 30-tablet pack of Bezalip Mono, containing the hypolipidaemic agent bezafibrate.

Leo Pharmaceuticals has made available a 240 g pack of its vitamin D analogue Dovonex ointment, containing 50 µg/ml calcipotriol.

Ciba Vision has marketed Viscotears single-dose units containing carbomer 980 0.2% for tear deficiencies.
