Allergan has introduced a triple pack of its Lumigan eyedrops containing 3 x 3ml of the prostaglandin analogue bimatoprost.
Almus Pharmaceuticals has launched a number of new products: 62.5µg, 125µg or 250µg tablets of the cardiac glycoside digoxin, and co-proxamol tablets containing 32.5mg of the opiate dextropropoxyphene hydrochloride and 325mg of the analgesic paracetamol.
PLIVA Pharma has made available a nasal spray of the vasopressin analogue desmopressin. Called Presinex, the product contains 10µg desmopressin per spray.
Eli Lilly & Co has marketed Forsteo injection containing 250µg/mL of teriparatide, the active fragment of parathyroid hormone.
GlaxoSmithKline has introduced Avandamet tablets containing 1 mg/500mg or 2mg/500mg of the thiazolidinedione rosiglitazone maleate and the biguanide metformin hydrochloride.
Aventis has brought out Tritace tablets to replace all Tritace capsule packs except for the Tritace titration pack. The tablets contain 1.25mg, 2.5mg, 5mg and 10mg of the ACE inhibitor ramipril.
AstraZeneca has launched Seroquel tablets containing 300mg of the dibenzothiazepine quetiapine.
