UK drug update - June 2003
Mayne Pharma has made available 50mg, 150mg and 200mg capsules of the antifungal agent fluconazole.
Transdermal has brought out Dandrazol shampoo containing 2% of the antifungal agent ketoconazole.
Alpharma has introduced 50mg, 150mg and 200mg capsules of the antifungal agent fluconazole.
Merck Sharp & Dohme has marketed Ezetrol tablets. The tablets contain 10mg of the cholesterol absorption inhibitor ezetimibe.
Amgen has introduced Migard tablets containing 2.5mg of the selective 5HT1-receptor agonist frovatriptan. The company has also brought out Neulasta injection containing 6mg of the human granulocyte colony stimulating factor pegfilgrastim.
Correction: From the April issue of Manufacturing Chemist we would like to correct the following:
Alpharma does not have a hypnotic Zolpidem, just normal Zolpidem tablets in 5mg and 10mg.
Alpharma does not have a hypnotic temazepam, just normal and it is available in both 10mg and 20mg, not just the 10mg.
