Bayer has brought out Avelox tablets containing 400mg of the fluoroquinolone moxifloxacin.
Gilead Sciences has made available Hepsera tablets containing 10mg of the antiviral adefovir dipivoxil.
Alcon Laboratories has launched Opatanol eye drops. The drops contain 1mg/ml of the selective antiallergic/antihistaminergic drug olopatadine (as hydrochloride).
IVAX Pharmaceuticals has added 50mg, 150mg and 200mg capsules of the antifungal agent fluconazole to its range of products.
AstraZeneca has marketed Symbicort 400/12 Turbohaler. The product contains 400µg of the corticosteroid budesonide and 12µg of the b-2 adrenoceptor stimulant formoterol. The company has also introduced Crestor tablets containing 10mg, 20mg and 40mg tablets of the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor rosuvastatin (as calcium).
Lagap Pharmaceuticals has added the following products to its range of generic medicines: 150mg capsules of the antibiotic clindamycin; and 50mg, 150mg and 200mg capsules of the antifungal agent fluconazole.
