Newman Labelling Systems, of London, will show its new 4VAL low cost tray-to-tray labelling system at its PPMA stand.

The 4VAL can apply clear and paper self-adhesive labels, at a speed of 200 containers per minute, to a range of rigid cylindrical containers such as ampoules, vials, syringes and cartridges.

It will be the machine's first UK appearance; the company says the 4VAL has already received success overseas, due to its cGMP design and sturdy stainless steel construction.

The unit's new features include stepper motor drive of the label web, straight label arm, very few change parts and hand wheel adjustment for quick size change over and interlocked guarding.
