Ultrasonic launches first colloid analyser
Ultrasonic Scientific, innovator in high-resolution ultrasonic spectroscopy (HR-US) for material analysis and twice nominated for the Pittcon Editors' Awards, will launch its pioneering ultrasonic Colloid Stability Analyser, designed for the analysis of emulsions and suspensions at pressures up to 10 bar. The new instrument, which complements the company's award winning range of HR-US spectrometers, is suitable for use by r&d and process development scientists, and QA/QC analysts in the pharmaceutical; food and beverage; cosmetics; personal care and other industries.
Other facets include: precise quantitative measurement; information on average particle size and concentration; suitability for analysis of liquids with low boiling points or liquids at high temperature; small sample size analysis; analysis of opaque materials; data processing algorithms; and non-destructive analysis.
Visitors will also be provided with two presentations on the use of the technology in the biotech, biomedical and food industries.
