Ultrasonic Scientific's new analyser

Ultrasonic Scientific will be showcasing its new ultrasonic titration analyser, software and spectroscopy accessories.

The Titration Kinetic Analyser high-resolution spectrometer for titration measurements and for analysing kinetics of chemical reactions in small volumes (approximately 40 microlitres) will also be on display. With it, microstructural and molecular processes can be measured when concentration of selected compounds are titrated. This makes it perfect for drug screening and measuring binding constants, enzymatic activity and kinetics of chemical reactions.

Also being showcased for the first time is the customer-driven spectrometry software. This software is four times faster than the previous version and includes the following features:

• Task orientated steps, which require limited manual input;

• Extensive database of background material;

• Extended data analysis capabilities; and

• Integrated HELP system.

In addition, Ultrasonic Scientific's range of accessories/external plug-in modules for the HR-US 102 high-resolution spectrometer are being shown. These transform the spectrometer into a platform for performing a wide range of additional analytical functions.

Among these is the new titration accessory, which allows enhanced analysis of intermolecular interactions, including ligand binding, aggregation processes, gelation and phase transitions.

The accessory also allows precise concentration measurements.
