Vetter Pharma's product portfolio widens its scope

German company Vetter Pharma-Fertigung, a specialist in aseptic filling of liquid and lyophilised drugs, has inceased its Vetter Development Service (VDS) business to offer filling of liquid and lyophilised vials for dosage identification studies in non-GMP fields and clinical manufacturing.


German company Vetter Pharma-Fertigung, a specialist in aseptic filling of liquid and lyophilised drugs, has inceased its Vetter Development Service (VDS) business to offer filling of liquid and lyophilised vials for dosage identification studies in non-GMP fields and clinical manufacturing.

Early in 2006 Vetter Commercial Manufacturing will also add vials to its portfolio.

Vetter will continue to provide bulk and SCF technology for the filling of syringes. In addition to standard injection systems and cartridges, Vetter also produces its own injection systems, such as the Lyo-Ject dual-chamber syringe. It is planning a new production facility in Ravensburg for Lyo-Ject, which should be up and running at the end of 2006.
