Weighstations provide first step on audit trail

In order to link weight recording with hard copy data transfer in its new dispensary, Wrafton Laboratories has installed two Sartorius IS industrial weighing platforms driven by complementary ISI30-S terminals.

Used in conjunction with a 15-digit bar code scanner to weigh out raw materials, the platforms can read and print out the Goods Received Number, product description and weight. The ticket also details which weigh station was used, along with the date and time.

The rugged, intelligent ISI terminals and IS weighing platforms are available in stainless steel and can operate in Zones 2 and 11 hazardous areas. At Wrafton, the systems are positioned in their own laminar flow hoods to protect staff and avoid cross contamination.
