Werum control expands Boehringer production

Boehringer Ingelheim is using the BioMES production control system from Werum to run its expanded ingredient plant at Biberach, Germany. A DM500m investment has doubled production at the site.

The standard software suite PAS-X from Werum is the basis for the BioMES production management system.

It will take over the order and material flow control, the centralised management of receipts, and complete electronic batch recording, as well as the integration of SAP and the downstreamed PLS-systems.
