The new BioSprint 15 workstation and kits provide rapid and convenient purification of high-quality genomic DNA from cells, tissue, and blood. Kits for protein purification will be available in early 2005.

The BioSprint 15 DNA Blood Kit, the first kit to be introduced in the expanding range, uses proven MagAttract magnetic-particle technology for purification of highly pure genomic DNA from cells, tissue, and blood. The automated procedure removes all contaminants and enzyme inhibitors. DNA purified using the BioSprint 15 workstation gives reliable results in demanding downstream applications, such as real-time PCR or amplification of single-copy genes.

To win a BioSprint 15 workstation, simply submit a 500-word summary describing the objectives of your research and the advantages a BioSprint 15 would bring to your work. An optional 200-word report from a referee explaining why they agree that the work is important can be submitted at the same time. All entries must be submitted online at www.qiagen.com/goto/winarobot by December 17, 2004. Competition terms and conditions apply and an be found on the website.
