Wise up to ultrapure water unit

Waterwise Technology, of Thame in the UK, has launched the WEL range of catalytic water electrolysis ozone generators for the disinfection of ultrapure water.

Rather than using a traditional air or oxygen-fed ozone system, the WEL units use a solid polymer electrolytic membrane cell to generate ozone directly in the ultrapure water by electrolytic dissocia-tion of the water molecules. This avoids any ionic contamination and obviates the need for the addition of any chemical agent.

Each cell module is capable of producing up to 4g/h of ozone.
