ENPICOM has become a member of the Pistoia Alliance, the global not-for-profit organisation bringing together more than 200 life science companies to tackle shared R&D challenges around AI standardisation, interoperability and autonomous agent infrastructure

The AI and bioinformatics company ENPICOM has announced that it has joined the Pistoia Alliance, the global non-profit organisation working to lower barriers to innovation in life science and healthcare R&D.

"The Pistoia Alliance's focus on the infrastructure challenges that stand between AI's promise and its impact on pharma R&D aligns closely with our own," said Nicola Bonzanni, founder and CEO of ENPICOM.

The standardisation, interoperability and automation needed to operationalise AI and autonomous agents are the same challenges we work on every day. That shared mission is exactly why we joined.

The Pistoia Alliance consists of more than 200 member organisations, including leading pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations (CROs), technology providers and academic institutions.

Together, they address common research and development challenges through pre-competitive collaboration.

As a member of the Alliance, ENPICOM will actively participate in projects, communities and events alongside its peers from across the biopharmaceutical value chain.
