Brightseed has announced the launch of the Brightseed Innovation Platform, which it calls the "first continuous, AI-powered Health Sciences Innovation Platform designed to increase the probability of commercial success across health and life sciences."

The launch means that Brightseed is now a platform-based enterprise AI company delivering software- and data-as-a-service (Saas and Daas) to global health science organisations, evolving from its discovery-focused bioactives roots.

Speaking exclusively to Manufacturing Chemist, Brightseed explained how the platform reduces formulation and manufacturing challenges: "Brightseed's platform supports decisions related to bioavailability and sourcing by capturing data such as ADME predictions, geographic origin and plant-part sourcing within its database."
