UK-based Asynt has added a new set of clamps to its DrySyn range of products. Said to be 'designed by chemists for chemists', the compact, fully adjustable DrySyn MULTI three-position clamps are of aluminium and stainless steel construction and have an innovative 'speed grip' design that allows rapid clamping.

The clamps are compatible with existing boss heads, fit any standard retort rod and can be utilised not only with the DrySyn MULTI-units but also reaction flasks in dry ice baths, with separating funnels, flash columns, SPE cartridges etc.

They allow the rapid and safe removal from a heat source from the reaction if required, in addition to use in non-heating applications especially where only stirring is needed. A further advantage lies with the easy accessibility and clear visibility particularly when combined with the DrySyn MULTI synthesisers, the company says.
