Curti Group, represented in the UK by Excel Packaging Machinery and P.A.P services, will present its latest technological innovation: the AVM rotary cartoner for the pharmaceutical industry.
To be unveiled for the first time in the UK, the machine handles the patented packaging system called the Ecogenius carton. This new carton is made from a single flat blank sheet and reduces the material cost of packaging systems for glass products such as ampoules, vials, syringes and carpules in carton, by anything from 10% to 35%.
The system offers a single machine for a complete safe and secure pack; lowering the capital machinery investment cost as well as the overall floor space and number of operator personnel required to produce such packaging, Curti says.
Curti, based near Bologna, Italy, also offers packaging and automation solutions from a single source. They specialise in vertical as well as horizontal cartoners, casepackers, small footprint micro-bloc case packer/palletisers, and bespoke automation machinery.
