Denny Bros Ltd, the creator of Fix-a-Form, the original multi-page label, has been firmly established as a green supplier following its award of the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard and has undoubtedly set the benchmark for competitors to aspire to.
This award recognises the company's ongoing commitment to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency and increase recycling within its Bury St Edmunds state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Having gone through a rigorous assessment process, the company has become one of only a handful of printers within the UK to achieve the ISO 14001 standard.
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised accreditation for Environment Management Systems and is achieved by pledging to conduct all business operations in an environmentally friendly manner and demonstrating everyday practices that reinforce this undertaking.
Denny Bros has been a holder of the ISO 9001 standard for Quality Management Systems for a number of years now and is also one of a very select number of businesses outside of the core pharmaceutical manufacturers to be accredited with PS 9000. It is believed that there are fewer than 30 companies worldwide to achieve all three accreditations, making Denny Bros proudly unique in terms of its operating standards and also business offering.
Managing director Barry Denny explains: "As a specialist printer and originator of the leaflet label, Denny Bros has always strived to offer customers an unparalleled level of service and our product offering is different to that of our competitors because not only have we continued to invest in new technology and printing processes, we are also able to offer totally bespoke labels across any industry.
"We have always believed in the importance of being environmentally friendly and there are a number of initiatives in place within the Denny Bros group to ensure that our robust policies are adhered to while maintaining superior customer service and product range."
