UK-based Flextraction will be exhibiting a range of new and existing dust collecting, mist separating and fume extraction equipment for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Flextraction are sole UK representatives for Dutch firm Kiekens Products, Sweden's Fumex and German firm TEKA.

Kiekens products on show include a new Dustmaster DM9000 for filtering very fine dusts found in pharmaceutical manufacture, food processing and chemical industries plus single phase KE1000 and 3-phase KE2000 industrial mobile vacuum cleaners with accessories including primary separators for picking up liquids and larger dust particles. All these products meet directive 94/9 EC for equipment intended for potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).

The highlight of Fumex products on show, Flextraction says, will be the launch of 100mm diameter polypropylene and ESD extraction arms, plus the LF175, one of a series of local filter kits (LFK) for use in a wide variety of applications based around the LF50PG-230 particle/gas fan and filter combination and LF 70, a portable filter for the extraction of airborne pollutants in laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturing as well as hospital applications.

Two new ATEX certified extraction arms will be shown, the R2000 125EX with a special paint finish and R2000 160EXH stainless steel arm plus a range of Terfu local extractor arms with friction joints and ball bearings to make positioning easy and accurate at the same time, as well as a TEX-AA telescopic local extractor for use with a mass spectrometer in the pharmaceutical industry will be shown.
