INEOS increases Eltex MED medical portfolio

INEOS Olefins & Polymers Europe has expanded its Eltex MED portfolio to include PP (homopolymer, random, terpolymer), HDPE, and LDPE plastics for syringes, inhalers and medical packaging.


INEOS Olefins & Polymers Europe has expanded its Eltex MED portfolio to include PP (homopolymer, random, terpolymer), HDPE, and LDPE plastics for syringes, inhalers and medical packaging.

The company says it now provides customers globally with a full medical grade range.

The new grades are compliant with European Pharmacopeia, USP class VI, filed under DMF.

The Eltex MED LDPE version is available for blow-fill-seal, film and IM applications. HDPE is for syringes, pharmaceutical rigid packaging; and PP is for inhalers, syringes, medical pouches and IM applications.
