Millipore has launched a weekly podcast service for its customers, which aim to improve productivity on the lab bench and manufacturing floor.

The podcasts include reviews of various technical posters as well as tutorials on the broad field of membrane technology.

Available via iTunes and RSS feeds and updated every Tuesday, the technical sessions provide listeners the opportunity to download and listen to the latest development in filtration, separation and lateral flow technology at their convenience. For those unable to attend the industry's top laboratory research, therapeutic production and diagnostic conferences, podcasts are an alternative source of information that can drive protocols and research. In addition, Millipore's scientists and engineers can communicate the newest industry trends.

Sample Millipore r&d podcasts available to listeners include 'Comparison of Protein Precipitation to Solid Phase Extraction for the Preparation of Serum Samples Prior to LC-MS/MS,' 'Membrane 101' tutorials, 'Tracking organic contaminants throughout a water purification system,' and 'Improving Reliability of Filter-Based Luminex xMAP multiplex Assays through Filter Plate and Membrane Material'.
