New approach to USP <621> guidelines delivers faster analysis, reduced solvent use, and improved performance with no revalidation required.

The Agilent updated HPLC method for acetaminophen and caffeine tablets, aligned with revised USP <621> guidelines, employs smaller particle size columns, including Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse Plus and InfinityLab Poroshell 120 EC-C18. This modernisation results in faster analysis, reduced solvent consumption, and eliminates the need for revalidation. The method meets all system suitability requirements, enhancing efficiency and sustainability in pharmaceutical testing.
