Software that allows the simultaneous display of tracks from single or groups of TLC plate samples is now available in the UK.
Developed by Swiss-based company CAMAG, the new Image Comparison Viewer can be sourced through Omicron Research.
The new tool offers broad applicability where the image is the primary result such as in fingerprint identification of botanical products, detection of adulteration in both raw materials and finished products.
The side-by-side layout allows users to make rapid comparisons between images. The table shows track number, sample ID, time and date data and analysis file name.
As with any component of a QA programme, the Image Comparison Viewer ensures that all generated data can be traced back to the original analysis.
