Zenith Technologies, a global life science technology firm, has appointed James O’Brien to lead its manufacturing execution system (MES) business in its next phase of its growth.
In his role as MES business unit lead, O'Brien will use his background in software development, consultancy and technology implementation to continue to develop Zenith Technologies as a leading provider of MES solutions and services to the life science industry.
The firm assists pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers with the implementation of MES solutions.
O'Brien has worked at Zenith as a senior MES engineer for a number of years, supporting some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies with global automation projects.
To support demand, the firm recently formed a partnership with MES software provider Werum IT Solutions.
Increasing demand in the US market has already led Zenith to open two new offices in Oakland and San Diego.
Based in Bluebell, PA, O'Brien will lead Zenith Technologies’ team of engineers in 16 offices globally.
