Pivotal, a growing, full-services, international CRO providing clinical trial management services has appointed Klemens Schuette as VP of Central and Northern Europe.
Klemens started his career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1990 at Asta Medica in Frankfurt am Main as Clinical Trials Manager, and progressing to International Clinical Project Leader and finally Director of International Clinical Operations in Clinical Development. In 2003 he became Chief Operating Officer and Executive VP at Ergomed, a Central European CRO, with additional responsibilities over Germany and the UK. Since 2012, he has been the CEO of Ecron-Acunova, an international CRO with European presence.
In his new position, Klemens will focus on expanding Pivotal's international presence in Central and Northern Europe, with special emphasis on Germany and the Scandinavian countries.
