Prange Pharma has announced the signing of definitive agreements for the acquisition of MSD Animal Health’s manufacturing site in Aprilia, Italy.
The formal transfer of ownership will be completed in the coming months.
After the sale closes, the site will be operated under “Aprilia Animal Health” and will be positioned as a dedicated centre for contract manufacturing in the field of animal health products.
The site’s portfolio will include both sterile and non-sterile manufacturing and filling, with capabilities covering beta-lactam antibiotics as well as specialised product categories such as ectoparasiticides.
Prange Pharma is currently discussing the terms of a long-term supply partnership with MSD, to be signed upon closing.
