DataLase PACKMARK is a unique, patent-pending, coding and marking solution for applying on-demand variable information to primary packaging materials.

The entire paper lid is flexo printed and treated with the DataLase chemistry that is specifically adapted to the company's requirements. The chemistry is activated by a very low power CO2 laser that causes a positive image to be formed on the lid, which cannot be tampered with.

By adopting the DataLase process, QIAGEN was able to produce very high quality data in a cost effective way. It has also resulted in fast production run times and removed the need for expensive consumables on the production line.
