Tabor joins Quintiles

Quintiles Transnational has appointed Dr Edward Tabor, M.D, an expert in the regulation of pharmaceu-tical and biotechnology products, to the position of executive director of regulatory and technical services.


Quintiles Transnational has appointed Dr Edward Tabor, M.D, an expert in the regulation of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products, to the position of executive director of regulatory and technical services.

Tabor joins from the FDA, where he created the antiviral regulatory review programme in the 1980s, and most recently served as associate director for medical affairs in the Office of Blood Research and Review, in the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER).

At Quintiles, Tabor will lead the regulatory consulting group for North America, providing strategic regulatory advice to pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers. He will also provide regulatory support to Quintiles' strategic investment group, PharmaBio Development.
