Abbott gains AltaRex contract

AltaRex is to transfer its proprietary cell culture manufacturing process from Lonza Biologics to Abbott Laboratories. 'Lonza has generated a cell culture manufacturing process that will result in a low cost of antibody manufacture that we believe we can transfer successfully to Abbott,' says AltaRex president Richard Bagley.
