The MPC range of heating and cooling machines are used for typical temperature control requirements in the laboratory. Specialist temperature control company Huber has expanded its product range of laboratory temperature control machines with the Microprocessor Controller.
The MPC is a modern, low-cost controller that has been purposely designed with basic functions. It can be purchased alone, as an immersion bath or re-circulation temperature control machine. All models use natural refrigerants, are environmentally friendly and save energy.
The MPC models are suitable for countless laboratory uses, such as samples, preparation, analysis and materials testing, as well as external temperature control of measuring equipment or experiments.
The MPC models reach a stability of +-0.05°C and are fitted with over temperature and low level protection, meeting safety class III/FL (DIN 12876); they are therefore suitable for use with flammable fluids. The circulation pump has a performance of 20 l/min; 0.2 Bar (Pressure) and 17 l/min; 0.18 Bar (Suction).
Models are available with polycarbonate baths (up to 100°C) or insulated steel baths (up to 200°C). The bath volumes are from 2 to 25 Litres. Refrigerated baths fitted with the MPC controllers generate up to 350 watts of cooling power, depending on the model, and cover a temperature range of -30°C to 200°C. The heating power is 2.0Kw for all models.
’Advanced’ models in the MPC range feature an RS232 interface and an external PT100 connection.
