This advanced digital image processing system for TLC/HPTLC offers users a powerful evaluation, visualisation and archiving system is the latest offering from Omicron Research, CAMAG's UK distributor.
The system features a high-resolution 12-bit CCD camera with 4095 linear intensity levels allows fast image transfer rates below 1s via FireWire. Automatic image optimisation and spot amplification tools with the fixed capture parameters, ensure high reproducibility of images from plate to plate, with images delivered with a dynamic sensitivity surpassing that of the human eye.
The TLC Visualizer's multi wavelength illumination unit provides visible/white light, UV254, UV366 and visible/white transmitted light, improving the homogeneity of the illumination of a plate, and features CAMAG's winCATS software.
WinCATS option 'Professional Image Enhancement' provides illumination and an advanced background plate correction eliminates all plate inhomogeneities.
The results are low noise images of superb quality for qualitative and quantitative chromatogram evaluation.
