Indelible black alphanumeric grid referencing has been introduced to Thermo Fisher Scientific's ABgene plates to help users identify individual wells by eye.

The 96-well, non-skirted PCR plates (AB-0600-L) feature raised black letters that are integral to the plate and are unaffected by rubbing or temperature changes during processing. This ensures that the lettering remains clearly visible to users at all times.

Unlike conventional raised alphanumeric symbols on moulded clear plastic, the black lettering on the ABgene non-skirted PCR plate is easy to see at any angle and in all light conditions, enabling users to identify individual wells quickly and accurately. The plates are compatible with most major thermal cyclers.

Its thin-walled design ensures maximum heat transfer and the raised rim around each well enhances plate sealing. Like all Thermo Scientific plastic consumables, the AB-0600-L is manufactured using virgin, medical-grade polypropylene and is certified free from DNase, RNase and endotoxins, providing the assurance of quality that is required for a wide range of PCR and QPCR applications.
