Haleon to use SAP's Business Suite to advance AI capabilities

Published: 26-Mar-2026

The pair have announced a new partnership with Haleon using SAP Business Suite to advance AI capabilities across its business and deliver its everyday health products at scale

Haleon has tapped SAP SE's Business Suite to enhance its digital infrastructure and advance AI capabilities across Haleon's business.

Haleon said the decision will help it operate, scale and serve consumers in new ways by building stronger, more agile foundations for delivering its trusted everyday health products and marks a significant milestone in its transformation into a world-class consumer company.

"Delivering a better consumer experience starts with strong foundations and leading digital technology and infrastructure are at the heart of this," said Claire Dickson, Haleon's Chief Digital and Technology Officer.

"Our latest partnership with SAP is another important step in our journey to becoming a world-class consumer company. It will revolutionise how we operate, with AI-enabled systems driving faster, simpler, more integrated ways of working.

"This will allow our people to focus on what matters most—serving consumers and unlocking growth."

Haleon said it was adopting SAP Business Suite to simplify and standardise critical processes across its global operations, enabling integrated and automated workflows.

With improved visibility and intuitive systems, Haleon can then operate with greater speed and resilience. This, the company says, will enhance supply chain responsiveness and enable it to adapt to changing consumer needs, ensuring the delivery of trusted health products while collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals.

By integrating core processes across finance, supply chain, HR and sales into one connected system with real-time data, the company should be able to "drive efficiencies." The incorporation of AI into daily operations will enhance data-driven decision-making and response to consumer demands, with the automation of routine tasks freeing up employees to focus on strategic initiatives that accelerate growth.

This digital transformation programme continues Haleon's long-standing relationship with SAP, with the transition from its current SAP ERP Central Component platform beginning later this year.

"AI outcomes depend on connected processes and trusted data," said Peter Maier, SAP's Senior Vice President for Strategic Customer Engagements.

With SAP Business Suite, Haleon is building an AI-ready foundation that embeds intelligence across the enterprise, helping simplify operations, improve resilience and scale innovation.

Haleon said it plans to adopt SAP Cloud ERP applications with embedded AI and deploy the SAP Business Data Cloud solution to harmonise SAP software and third-party data in a governed, single source of truth.

This connected platform will support AI-assisted innovation and enable agentic AI, enabling AI agents to identify issues earlier and recommend actions across key business processes.
