High speeds from Thermo's AC9

Providing equipment from process to packaging, Thermo Electron Corporation Process Instruments Division was showing a selection of its wide range of products including the Ramsey AC9 GP, ultra hygienic checkweigher.

Incorporating a 32-bit processor system and an integral PC microcontroller, the AC9GP will handle weighing, control and reject functions at line speeds up to 350 packs per minute.

The machine is capable of providing basic and advanced production statistics, loading set-up data for up to 400 products, and communicating with external data collecting systems.
