HUYA Bioscience appoints John Ratliff as President and CEO

He was previously President/COO of Quintiles' Global Services organisation

HUYA Bioscience International has appointed John Ratliff as President and Chief Executive.

The move is part of the San Diego, CA, US-based firm's long-term growth plan. Founder Mireille Gillings continues as Executive Chair of its Board of Directors.

Ratliff brings more than 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and information technology industries to the firm. He led Quintiles' Global Services organisation as President/COO with its clinical research, commercial, consulting, lab operations.

He also worked for Acterna, a provider of communications test solutions for telecommunications and cable network operators. Before moving to Acterna in 2000, he worked for 19 years at IBM.
