Natoli’s automated tablet hardness tester can be used to test larger tablets (up to 60mm) of all shapes and sizes. Simply place the sample on the sample support, start the test and observe the result shown on the digital LED display, which is simultaneously printed on the built-in thermo printer. Changing test jaws is not required.

Depending on hardness, throughput is approximately 6 – 10 samples per minute. The tester has a Plexiglas screen for user protection.

The model illustrated above features N, Sc, and Kp measurement units; full statistical calculation (mean, standard, and absolute deviation); Linear Force and Speed Increase modes; maximum and minimum test results; built-in thermo printer; easy instrument validation and calibration procedure; automatic restart facility to speed up testing sequence; up to 250 tests per batch; and RS-232 serial interface.
