New addition to the Xpress range
Manesty has launched the newest member of its Xpress family, the Xpress 300.
The company claims this machine, with mpower integrated technology, delivers the highest tablet quality and the lowest total cost of ownership benefits. Designed primarily for the cost-effective production of small to medium batch sizes, it is also an ideal tablet press to optimise the transition of products between r&d and clinical trials to production. A choice of control console designs and hardware options are available, all with the same software functionality, providing customers with greater flexibility with regard to room size, logistics and budget.
The Xpress 300 has a range of six different interchangeable turret options, and both tablet size and output can be optimised. The turret is removed quickly and simply using just a single tool. Uniquely for a press of this size both the pre and main compression force may be adjusted up to 100kN allowing a wider range of materials to be tableted; and as with the larger 500 and 700 versions of the Xpress range, no separate electrical switch cabinets are required to operate the press, thereby reducing cabling and footprint requirements.
An optional integral air cushion facilitates easy movement of the press both within the compression booth and the production area. If space is restricted in the booth the press can be turned around by hand to provide optimal positioning for punch and die removal or in the event of planned downtime the press can be easily manoeuvred to an engineering area.
