Russell Finex has been granted a patent for its inflatable clamping system used to prevent food and pharmaceutical products from leaking.
The new twist, lock and inflate (TLI) system is used on the range of Compact Airlock sieves and is claimed to guard against leakage more effectively than all other clamping methods.
The Compact Airlock is certified to provide containment levels of less than 1µg/m3.
Operators appreciate the clamping system's ease of use. With no tools required, the TLI enables screener assembly in seconds. Large improvements can be observed in operator health and safety, with noise levels as low as 65dBA, and full compliance with the new ATEX legislation in Europe.
Ray Singh, the company's sales and marketing director, said: "Russell Finex already has numerous patents, which reinforce our position as originators of screening and separation equipment for a variety of industries around the world. The TLI patent is yet another example of how we are setting the standard in our field".
Russell Finex has over 70 years" experience manufacturing and supplying filters, screeners, and separators to improve the quality, enhance productivity, safeguard worker health, and ensure powders and liquids are contamination-free.
