Sensirion opens Chinese subsidiary
Sensirion, a Swiss sensor technology specialist, has opened a sales office in Shenzhen, China, which adds to branches set up in Australia and South Africa at the beginning of the year and is a further step in the company"s international expansion.
Sensirion, a Swiss sensor technology specialist, has opened a sales office in Shenzhen, China, which adds to branches set up in Australia and South Africa at the beginning of the year and is a further step in the company’s international expansion.
With the Chinese branch, Sensirion intends to increase its local presence on site and enhance its position in China, which the company says is significant and rapidly growing.
Currently employing five people, Sensiron China Co will be led by general manager Jörg Fetz, previously Sensirion’s international sales manager.
Soanar and Electrocomp are handling distribution in Australia and New Zealand and South Africa respectively.
Aside from its Swiss headquarters, Sensirion’s global distribution network includes subsidiaries in Japan, South Korea, China, and the US, as well as eight independent sales representatives.
Sensirion supplies CMOS-based sensor components and systems, including humidity and temperature sensors, mass flow meters and controllers, gas and liquid flow sensors, and differential pressure sensors.
