The latest addition to fluid system component specialist Swagelok Company's product line is the Swagelok SSV series stream selector system, which delivers a representative sample from multiple sample streams to a single analyser.
These modular assemblies are ANSI/ISA 76.00.02 compatible and accommodate multiple process streams in a limited amount of space. Each stream is controlled by a double-block and bleed (DBB) module to eliminate cross contamination and maintain sample integrity.
The SSV series stream selector system features an integrated flow loop to streamline sampling and purging and provide consistent outlet flow. Regardless of which stream is selected, the flow rates of all streams remain consistent.
Addressing industry requirements for a wider range of operating temperatures, Swagelok 40G series one-piece instrumentation ball valves are for use in environmental applications where outdoor ambient temperatures fluctuate, as well as in heated-process applications with elevated process fluid temperatures. The valves feature working pressures up to 3000 psig (206 bar) and temperatures from -53 to 148°C.
Features of the new valve include a single-piece, patent-pending encapsulated packing design and live-loaded packing system that reduce the need for packing adjustment and improve thermal cycle performance. The 40G valve series accommodates a wide range of handles and actuators.
Swagelok's modular platform components, together with configurator software, make it easy to develop and assemble complete process analyser and sample-handling systems using an ANSI/ISA 76.00.02-compliant miniature modular design. Thanks to this new approach, system designers can greatly reduce the size, weight, and flow path volume of their process analysis and sampling systems, while reducing the costs required to design, build, and maintain them.
The system meets all requirements of the ANSI/ISA 76.00.02 specification for the 38.2mm footprint. The configurator software allows the user to place, define, and connect surface mount components on a computerised layout grid. The configurator identifies all of the additional flow connectors that are necessary to build the fluid system and generates a bill of materials and assembly diagram to simplify ordering and final assembly of the MPC series assembly.
Swagelok Tube Fitting is an advanced, patented tube-fitting technology designed to help installers make more consistent, leak-tight, high-performance tube connections in instrumentation, industrial and hydraulic applications. Featuring a patented back-ferrule design engineered to "hinge" during installation, it delivers greater sealing and gripping action and reduces the potential for improper installation and leakage.
