The UK-based digital transformation and technology consulting firm TXP has been awarded a new contract by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for architecture, infrastructure and cyber security services worth £1.5m.
Under the agreement, TXP will enhance the MHRA's IT team and assist the agency in its ongoing efforts to modernise its digital and technological capabilities.
Through continuous knowledge transfer, TXP will help to equip the MHRA to develop, update and maintain its IT systems and services moving forward.
"Bringing drug safety programmes into the digital age is critical to the health of UK citizens," said Tim Hurst, COO at TXP.
We’re excited to be extending our partnership with the MHRA, as this contract is further recognition of TXP’s digital transformation capabilities and the commitment of our people.
The new contract strengthens TXP’s presence in the public sector, expanding its collaborations with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
TXP was also appointed as a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Digital Outcomes and Specialists 7 framework.
